Hydro-therapy
Feel revitalised from the experience of starting your day with the use of a Spa and improve your sleep patterns by using your Spa again for 10-15 minutes before going to bed. Hydrotherapy is created through a combination of heat, buoyancy and massage.
Heat
The heat of the water is an important factor in the process of hydrotherapy; the ideal temperature is about 37 degrees, which coincides with the body's core temperature. The water in the Spa increases the body temperature and increases blood flow to the muscles. In summertime the water temperature can be set at a lower level to cool down from those warm summer days.
Buoyancy
Buoyancy can be increased to around 90% in the Spa by using the air volume controls, which help to combine air flow into the water jets to give a totally different experience.
This Venturi-system is standard on all 4SeasonsSpa models. The Buoyancy reduces the pressure on joints and muscles so the body can completely relax.
Massage
The hydro-massage jets are available in 4 different jet types to massage areas of the body from neck and shoulders, back, legs and feet, and some models offer side jets to massage hips, and even jets to massage wrists and the palms of the hands. The jets can give a massage through a combination of water and air or only water.
Jet
Jet
The warm water coming from the jet has a different massage, dependent on the type of jet. The air control combines the air flow into the water, for a more intense massage. Certain individual jets can also be relocated to another position in the Spa to optimise the personal massage preference.
Hydro-massage jets
The 4 jet types (Whirl, Impact, Rotation and Pressure) each have their own specific massage pattern.
The 4 types then come in different sizes. The general rule is that the smaller the jet, the more powerful the massage is, ideal for those aching muscles. The larger the jet is, the more gentle the massage, which is ideal for winding down and releasing those endorphins.
Chromo Therapy
Chromo-therapy, is sometimes called colour therapy. Health is contingent upon balancing not only our physical needs, but our emotional needs as well. Colour and light are used to influence these needs by balancing the personal energy wherever a person's body is lacking.
4SeasonsSpa equips all of its Spas with a 6 colour central LED light to increase the visual sensation of the Spa.
